Good Habits

  • Good Manners & Habits are the credentials that unconsciously make one to go through life on which people bear their initial judgment of their merits and demerits. Code of manners and habits will help one to be sure of themselves when in company and save them from falling prey to awkwardness. If one aims at overall personality growth of students one has to be very watchful of developing & including Good habits & Manners. This can be achieved by insisting the following Habits.

  • Student should get up on time-not before the bell or late after the bell

  • Student should fold their blanket, dust their bed spread, their bed sheets and leave the bed.

  • Brushing the teeth before bed coffee.

  • Participating in the morning exercise enthusiastically.

  • Bathroom mats and floor mats should be used by students as a matter of habits.

  • Should have a clean bath daily after the toilet.

  • Toilet should be flushed and seat washed with after before and after use.

  • Hair should be well dried after head bath and hair oil applied. Biting the nails, Shirt corners, Collars should be avoided.

  • Knees, ankles fingers and toes should be cleaned and treated properly.

  • Face powder/Talcum powder should be applied to keep one fresh through the day.

  • Handkerchief and hand towels should be used for daily activities in School/Hostel.

  • Undergarments should be properly washed and used.

  • Nails should be periodically cut and trimmed. Short hair style will keep one smart and handsome. Wearing well washed, ironed and neat dresses and maintaining it neat & tidy is the best habit.

  • Washing hands & drying hands before dining and after dining should be a habit.

  • Washing the body after exercise and play.

  • Maintaining the wardrobe, shoe rack and personal belongings properly and arranging them in order in the Dormitory.

  • Maintaining the toiletry articles and using it economically only for self and keeping it carefully.

  • At dining table one should eat all that is provided without wasting. Left over should be avoided.

  • Students should not cover the face with blanket while sleeping.

  • Brushing the teeth before going to bed can be cultivated as a good habit
